Grooms perform three songs from their debut full-length, Rejoicer released in late October 2009 by Death By Audio Records.  Their songs are assaulting, melodic pop enveloped in noise and dissonance.  Travis Johnson and Emily Ambruso (formerly Muggabears) are joined by new drummer, Jim Sykes (Parts & Labor, Marnie Stern).  At the time of this session, Johnson and Ambruso had only played one show with Sykes.  Amazingly, the trio treat us to an exclusive performance of their unreleased song, “Into the Arms”.
