featuredSession Frankie Rose and the Outs
Frankie Rose and the Outs stopped in to Headgear to share their unique slant on female-centric pop. The band, all Brooklyn locals, have been making waves since 2008, when they burst onto the scene with some great live shows. Frankie, former drummer of several bands (Vivian Girls, Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls) fronts this band, backed by the 3 Outs, Caroline (bass, vocals), Kate (drums, vocals) and Margot (guitar, vocals). The band has been touring extensively, having just wrapped up a 6 week trip through Europe. Here at freqControl, we strive to capture the band’s essence, and with this session, you get the Outs in their bare element, harmonies swirling, drenched in sweet reverb.
